Intermediate Agility

Not yet ready for a competition agility class? This class will help ready you and your dog to move on!
We will continue to work on contact and weave pole performance, jumping skills and short sequences of obstacles, as well as starting distance work, and establish hander skills such as front and rear crosses, and giving clear cues while on the move. Each team will advance at their own rate and most teams will take Intermediate classes for several sessions. The class begins with group warm-ups (stretching, focus exercises, etc) for dogs and handlers. Dogs should know how to navigate jumps, tunnels, tire, and table comfortably; weave pole and end-of-contact performance can still be a work in progress.
