Camps
Summer Camp
The Monadnock Humane Society Pet Pals Summer Day Camp features six, week-long day camp sessions beginning in July. Open to children ages 8 to 12, each camp session focuses on a different aspect of animal sheltering. By offering opportunities for positive experiences with animals in a shelter environment, Pet Pals provides young learners with an outlet that fosters curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. In keeping with the organization's mission, Pet Pals inspires youth to be compassionate towards and responsible for animals within their local communities. Through one-on-one time with appropriate shelter animals, children learn how to properly care for companion pets as well as how to interact with and enrich the lives of shelter residents.
